Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Riesling from Dr. Loosen opens with a bee’s wax and honeysuckle bouquet with hints of ginger. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with medium acidity. It is also mouthwatering. The flavor profile is ripe honeydew melon and pineapple blend with notes of chalky minerality and lime. I also detected hints of saline and pink grapefruit. The finish is off-dry and quite refreshing. Serve it slightly chilled with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy - Ken
