Wine Review: This almost clear colored Spatlese level Riesling from Dr. Loosen opens with a floral and mild lime bouquet with hints of lychee and grapefruit peel. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with zesty acidity and slightly sweet flavors. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced lemon-lime with notes of saline, apricot and ginger. We also detected hints of dried pineapple. The finish is slightly sweet and lingers for a little bit. The Panel suggested pairing this Riesling with Thai wings. Enjoy – KWGTP
