Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling from Dr. Loosen was our top wine in our recent mini-blind tasting of dry Rieslings. This wine opens with an inviting ginger and floral bouquet with hints of lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with bright acidity. Yet, we also found it creamy. The flavor profile is a lemon and almond blend with notes of Anjou pear, lime and fine minerality. We also picked up some hints of ginger. The finish is dry and it is refreshing, while lingering for quite some time. The Panel suggested pairing this impressive Riesling with veal Milanese or a seafood casserole. Enjoy - KWGTP
