Wine Review: This pale straw colored Riesling from Dr. Loosen is very well made. It opens with a pretty floral bouquet with hints of peach. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly sweet and smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious lemon verbena and ripe green apple blend with hints of pineapple and guava. The finish is off-dry and shows very nice length. This Riesling is pretty complex and tasty. I would pair it with broiled scallops. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Under close to perfect conditions, we were able to harvest grapes with optimal must weights and acidity levels, producing wines in all quality levels. The vintage also gave us excellent yields, with a beautiful balance of ripeness and acidity. The wines are dense and concentrated, but with the delicate and graceful style of the Mosel.
