Wine Review: This light yellow colored Riesling from Dr. Loosen is phenomenal. It opens with a lime and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, a little lively, and displays gentle acidity. The flavor profile is a delicious apricot and lime blend. The finish is slightly sweet and very refreshing. This gem did not last long with our mini group. We agreed this would be best served slightly chilled with sharp cheddar cheese. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is the quintessential Mosel Riesling: delicate and refined, with racy minerality and fine fruitiness balanced exquisitely by crisp Mosel acidity. The Spatlese ("late harvest") designation means the grapes are picked very ripe, resulting in a wine with a rich texture and deep flavors. It's an aristocratic and charming wine that dances gracefully on the palate.
