Wine Review: This almost clear colored dry-styled Riesling from the Finger Lakes opens with a fragrant lime zest and white grapefruit bouquet with some floral hints along with a bit of chalk and tangerine. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with plus acidity. Despite the elevated acidity, it has a refined and round mouthfeel to it. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced mild white grapefruit, green apple and lime zest blend with notes of quinine and saline. The finish is smooth and dry. Its acidity and flavors drift away nicely. This Riesling will really appeal to gin and tonic fans. We thought this Riesling would also be a nice option to pair with turkey breast and stuffing or with wiener schnitzel. Enjoy - Ken
