Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling from Dr. Konstantin Frank is a very good value. It opens with a ginger bouquet with a hint of pineapple. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, pleasantly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a lime and honey blend with notes of minerality. I also detected a hint of apricot pit in the background. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Finger Lakes Riesling is very food friendly. It would pair well with swordfish shish kabobs or sushi.
