Wine Review: This pale white gold colored sparkler from the Finger Lakes opens with lots of tiny streaming bubbles and a fresh lemon and ginger bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with lively and fresh acidity. The flavor profile is a pleasant lemon and sour dough blend with notes of appealing minerality and yellow grapefruit. I also detected a touch of tangerine and dash of white pepper. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors linger nicely. It is quite refreshing overall. This Sparkler would do well as an opening wine served with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Delicate aromas of freshly baked bread, Asian pear, green apple, white flowers, and fresh strawberry. Leading with a fine mousse, the mouthfeel is fruity and profound with mineral notes, creaminess, strawberry, and pineapple. Long crisp apple finish.
