Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from the Finger Lakes opens with musty grapefruit bouquet with a hint of cantaloupe. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mild grapefruit with notes of lime and nicely integrated minerality. I also detected a hint of quinine. The finish is dry and its favors and fresh acidity linger nicely. This is a nice summer wine. I would pair it with seared scallops in a mango carrot reduction sauce. Enjoy - Ken
