Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Riesling from Dr. Hermann opens with a bee’s wax, honeysuckle, petrol and guava bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and bright with lively acidity. The acidity does a nice job melding with the sweetness. The flavor profile is a mineral infused ginger and apricot blend with notes of lime zest. I also detected hints of nectarine and ripe green melon. The finish is pleasantly sweet and refreshing. This Riesling would serve you well as a nice aperitif. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Light yellow green
Nose: Spices and stone fruits with notes of red berries.
Palate: Bright and fresh with some residual sugar. Fine acidity with some delicate honey notes and a long spicy finish.
