Wine Review: This white gold colored Riesling opens with a damp wood, match head and ginger bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, rather sweet and has zippy acidity. The flavor profile is a lime and ginger blend with hints of Bosc pear. There was also a hint of tangerine towards the end. The finish is semi-sweet and lingers nicely. This Riesling would be a very nice aperitif option and would pair nicely with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This wine shows a pronounced bouquet of very ripe red and yellow fruits, with exotic and slightly spicy notes, with well-integrated acidity. The slatey minerality so typical of the Mosel adds further complexity. Matches delicate foods excellently. Try this wine with veal, shellfish, roasted poultry or fish.
