Wine Review: This white gold colored Riesling opens with an apricot bouquet with hints of ginger and pear. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, slightly acidic and pleasantly sweet. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused ripe apricot with hints of mild orange marmalade and touch of peach. The finish remains a little sweet and its flavors linger for a bit. This Riesling would pair well with sliced green apples and caramel dip. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is extremely complex with a tremendous aging potential. Carries an aroma of hot stones, with dark currant and nectarine flavors supported by a lively acidity. Rich and juicy on the finish, offering notes of white chocolate and spice. Not only great with lobster, scallops and other seafood, but also a great companion to the spices used in the modern American "fusion" dishes.
