Wine Review: This dark amber colored 10-Year-Old Tawny Port from Dow's opens with a walnut and molasses bouquet with hints of raisins, figs, hazelnut, and dried cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, slightly sweet, smooth, and syrupy. The flavor profile is plump raisin and molasses blend with notes of walnut and cardamon. We also detected hints of hazelnut and rum balls. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are very lengthy. The Tasting Panel would then pair this 10-Year-Old Tawny with a pecan pie or just sip it on its own. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This Port's color has a deep russet center with a distinctive garnet edge and a hint of amber and bright aromas of red cherry and almonds with toffee and vanilla notes balance the nose. On the palate this wine is mouth-filling, with peppery spice and a touch of marmalade. The finish is full, with Dow’s trademark dry edge. Dow's 10-Year-Old Tawny is a perfect match to sweet desserts, such as apple pie or chocolate mousse. Serve slightly chilled. It will last for up to one month once open.
