Wine Review: This deep yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a Bartlett pear bouquet with a hint of apple. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and round in the mouth. The flavor profile is a very tasty apple with nice integrated new oak and vanilla cream. I also detected a hint of white pepper and lemon. The finish is dry and its enjoyable flavors linger for quite a while after the wine is gone. This California styled Chard would pair well with pasta carbonara. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Mouthwatering aromas of white peach and Bosc pear mingle with suggestions of other stone and citrus fruits in the perfectly ripe, seductive nose of this Chardonnay. Weighty yet nimble on the palate, the wine offers layers of vibrant lemon curd and apple flavors and delightful minerality on a long, rich and tangy finish.
