Wine Review: This deep purple colored wine from Sicily opens with a black raspberry, plum and vanilla bouquet with a touch of oak. The medium to full bodied palate includes red raspberries, cloves, light plum and hints of herbs. I thought the tannins were big but not overpowering with some nice complexity. The finish was slightly dry with a touch of coffee grounds. I would pair this red blend with sweet sausages with marinara sauce and linguine. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: Ruby red, Sedara 2016 offers a fruity bouquet with aromas of blackberries and blueberries combined with a light spicy note of black pepper. The palate displays good structure with suave tannins and pleasant freshness. A soft red, versatile for food pairing, perfect for every day. Serve with lasagna or chicken cacciatore.
