Wine Review: This almost clear colored wine from Sicily opens with a mild grapefruit and wet stone like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a yellow grapefruit with notes of minerality and tangerine. I also detected hints of honey dew melon and lime in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity lingers for a while. This wine would be nice on a hot day with some Thai rolls. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Anthìlia 2013 offers a round bouquet, the fruity notes of white flesh fruit, especially melon, merge with the crisp herbaceous notes of Mediterranean scrub. A particularly pleasant white, characterized by a fresh aroma and taste. Aging potential: to be enjoyed within 3-4 years.
