Wine Review: This opaque and midnight blue colored Syrah from Donelan opens with a blackberry and plum like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, rich and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with hints of cedar, black licorice and black pepper. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and yummy flavors last for quite a while. You will find this Syrah to be a nice fireplace wine. Sip with sliced cheddar cheese and enjoy. - Ken
