Wine Review: This dark red colored Grenache based wine opens with a boysenberry and acai berry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and approachable. The flavor profile is gentle red plum with notes of mild oak and minerality. We also picked up a hint of pomegranate and red currant. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This wine would pair well with pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: One whiff and you’ll be hooked on the 2013 Cuvee Moriah. The nose has intoxicating fruit purity, with pomegranate and ripe melon, and the mid-palate is polished. The Syrah plays a small but important role in 2013, lending length and plushness to the palate.
