Wine Review: This light yellow colored wine opens with a light pear like bouquet with a hint of honey and lemon. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a gentle pear with hints of white pepper, mild honey and a touch of faint apple in the background. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This wine would be perfect with seafood. I would pair it with grilled swordfish. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: As has become typical of Donelan Venus, the 2010 epitomizes prettiness. It's as if you are drinking delicacy flavored with the typical Roussanne aromas of beeswax, lemon rind, freesia, and melon. The wine is complexly flavored but with a dancing, fresh finish. 2010: another vintage that will be irresistible to uncork.
