Wine Review: This pitch black colored Tempranillo is a bold and concentrated wine. It opens with a fragrant blueberry, black cherry and dark chocolate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, juicy and rich. The flavor profile is fig and rum cake blend with notes plum. I also detected hints of black pepper, espresso and oak. The finish is dry and its flavors and medium tannins linger and last for a while. I would drink this wine on its own on a chilly night by the fireplace. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A deep and complex wine with nice acidity and superb balance that expresses characteristics of the grapes and the soils they've come from. Pronounced minerality on the nose and a focused, saturated and persistent finish.
