Wine Review: This mulberry colored wine from Pauillac has an Old-World style. It opens with an inviting black currant and gentle new saddle leather bouquet with hints of eucalyptus and tobacco leaf. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, smooth and very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant and cedar blend with notes of fine grained minerality and black olive mixed in. I also detected hints of blackberry and black pepper. The finish is dry and its medium plus tannins are refined and show nice length. This wine is very food friendly and would pair well with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep purple robe with black hints. The nose is complex and discreet, the bouquet will further develop upon ageing. Swirling of the glass will reveal notes of underwood, spices and pencil lead delicately woven together. Assertive on the palate, this full-bodied wine shows great persistence and rich flavors. Clearly a keeping wine; This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for another five to seven years
