Wine Review: This dark straw colored Chenin Blanc from Vouvray is very good. It opens with a fragrant orange, pear and apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is a ripe Bosc pear with notes of orange and pineapple. I also picked up some hints of ginger and minerality behind the ripe and juicy fruits. The finish is semi-dry and its fruit flavors last for quite some time. This wine would pair well with grilled swordfish. Enjoy - Ken
