Wine Review: This dark ruby colored blend from Domaine Rose Dieu opens with a fragrant blackberry, violet and stewed black plum bouquet with hints of bay leaf. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and round. The flavor profile is flinty minerality and blackberry blend with notes of bay leaf, strawberry, and craisin. I also detected hints of oak, black tea, and rhubarb. The finish is dry, and its moderate dusty tannins linger for quite some time. This wine would pair well with a thick and juicy bacon burger, Enjoy - Ken
