Wine Review: This light white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre opens with a mild lime and wet stone like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a mineral infused Bosc pear with hints of green apple. The finish is quite dry and pleasantly refreshing. I would suggest pairing this impressive Sauvignon Blanc with steamed mussels in a garlic wine broth. I tried this wine at Legal Sea Foods in Boston. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: White Sancerre: On the palate, a perfect balance of roundness and freshness is revealed. On the palate, a seductive suppleness and freshness is apparent, as well as the presence of tannins.
