Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored red blend is consistently a great value wine. It opens with a strawberry licorice and mild oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty black currant and mild oak blend with hints of boysenberry. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins linger for quite some time. This wine would pair well with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A powerful and full-bodied wine with a deep ruby red colour with violet tints. The nose is complex: cinnamon, stewed fruit, and Morello cherry. After a firm and ample attack, on the palate we have vanilla and peppery notes which last to the finish. This is a rich and supple wine, long in the mouth. Best with wild boar stew and grilled beef cuts.
