Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Chenin Blanc from Vouvray opens with a faint quince bouquet with hints of chamomile, dried orange peel, bee’s wax, and celery. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, silky, and supple. The flavor profile is very tasty mild quince and chamomile blend with hints of pineapple, baked pear, honey, and orange. The finish is off-dry and drifts away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Chenin Blanc with baked bay scallops or with a tarte Tatin. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Revealing the soul of a unique grape variety that takes root right down to the tuffeau, the demi-sec vibrates and resonates in the mouth like a taste echo, the natural sugar and acidity of Chenin blending harmoniously.
