Wine Review: This straw colored Pouilly Fuisse opens with a pear and mushroom bouquet with hints of white florals. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with bright plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and very fresh. The flavor profile is a tasty Anjou pear and green apple blend with notes of lemon and white tea. I also detected a hint of saline and touch of lime. The finish is dry and refreshing for a Chard. This Pouilly Fuisse would pair well with chicken francese. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale gold with golden reflections. The nose is full of finesse and delicacy with a beautiful and mineral length. The scents of acacia flowers, fresh pineapple, and lemon, offering complexity and balance to this wine which is both powerful and tasty. This wine may be perfectly tasted with shellfish and fish in sauce as well as with dry cheeses.
