Wine Review: This Pinot opens with a pleasant cherry bouquet with a hint of red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and smooth as silk. It displays very tasty cherry vanilla and red raspberry flavors with a touch of oak in the background. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are nicely prolonged. I would pair this fine Pinot with broiled pork tenderloin with an applesauce glaze. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Beautiful deep, clear ruby color; complex and luscious on the nose. The wine exudes powerful aromas of spice bread and licorice, together with delicate woody and menthol aromas. These strong, luscious flavors are also found on the palate. The tannins are silky and give fine volume to a wine that is perfectly balanced.
