Wine Review: This pale straw-colored sparkling wine from Domaine Carneros opens with lots of random small and tiny steaming bubbles. The bouquet displays fragrant moist bread dough and almond aromas with hints of lemon and nectarine. On the palate, this wine is dry, medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and fresh with nice froth. The flavor profile is a brioche, green apple, and lime blend with notes of ginger and toasted almond. We also detected some hints of peach pit. The finish is dry, and its acidity is very refreshing. We would pair this sparkler with crab cocktail. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
