Wine Review: This Cabernet Sauvignon from Mendoza is nearly opaque deep garnet in color with aromas of wild cherry, burnt caramel and vanilla; barnyard hints upon opening flash off almost immediately. On the palate, the wine is medium-plus in body, balanced and silky smooth. Fully ripened cherry and plum flavors dominate but other blue and black fruits are abundant as well. The wine wraps up with a toasty oak and vanilla infusion and an extra-long finish. This is a steak-worthy Cab for a ground beef price and represents a very compelling value. Enjoy – Jeoff
Winemaker Notes: Intense violet color. Black currant and black cherry aromas with graphite notes. Full body with medium high tannins and flavorful finish. Serve with grilled meats with peppery sauces.
