Wine Review: This dark yellow colored Chardonnay from Domaine Anderson opens with an attractive Bartlett pear and creme brulee bouquet with notes of oak and honey. On the palate, the wine medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, fresh and mouthwatering for a Chard. The flavor profile is an oak influenced Bartlett pear, and chalky minerality blend with notes of honey, vanilla, and green apple. I also detected some hints of chamomile tea, pineapple, butter, and spice. It is pretty complex. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are very extended. This Chardonnay would pair well with chicken St. Timothy. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale golden color, showing aromas of toasted bread crust, pear, and lime. On the palate, creamy and soft texture is well defined with apricot, tangerine and marzipan. Finish is wrapped and long, coating the palate with a mouth-watering acidity.
