Wine Review: This very dark red colored Pinot Noir from Domaine Anderson opens with a black raspberry and oak bouquet with notes of pomegranate and clove. On the palate. this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a stewed black plum and clove blend with notes with pomegranate, black pepper, and black tea. I also detected black currant and red licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors and refreshing acidity linger and last for a quite a while. This Pinot would pair well with grandma's lasagna. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2021 Estate Pinot Noir displays a deep garnet color, with aromas of black tea and dark berries that are complemented by hints of graphite and mushroom. The palate is harmonious and balanced, featuring flavors of blackberry, black olive, and blood orange. This wine has a robust and firm texture, with a bright and savory finish.
