Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Domaine Anderson is excellent! It opens with a pomegranate and potting soil bouquet with hints of violet and black plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and graceful. The flavor profile is a tasty, dried strawberry and gentle red raspberry tea blend with notes of saline and red cherry. I also detected hints of loam and orange zest. The finish is dry and its refined dusty tannins and flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this Pinot with a German Jägerschnitzel. (Hunter Schnitzel with mushroom gravy)
