Wine Review: This light-yellow colored Chardonnay from Domaine Anderson opens with a lavender sachet and lemon bouquet with hints of pine and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, bright, and supple. The flavor profile is a golden delicious apple and lemon verbena blend with notes of ginger and honeydew melon. We also detected hints of stony minerality, white tea, and white pepper. The finish is dry and very refreshing for a Chard. We would pair this Chard with chicken Francese or grilled swordfish. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Bright, lively, and fresh aromas of pine, citrus and lemon verbena. On the palate, it's focused and mouth filling, with tart apple, tangerine, and a subtle saline note. With racy acidity and a medium body on the palate, the 2021 Dach Chardonnay maintains a beautiful balance of purity and tension.
