Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley opens with a wild strawberry and lavender bouquet with hints of blackberry tea and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, delicate, and very smooth. The flavor profile is an interesting blend of strawberry and coconut with notes of milk chocolate and triple sec. I also detected hints of black plum and espresso in the after taste. The finish is dry and its flavors and refined mild tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this unique Pinot with a seared duck breast with fig sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Rich and balanced on the palate with juicy fruit aromas of dark-skinned black cherries and plums. A hint of dried herbs and forest floor add to the nuances of this wine. Dried orange peel on the long and smooth finish.
