Wine Review: This translucent and dark red colored Pinot Noir opens with a blood orange and slight barnyard bouquet with hints of faint herbal tea and red cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is very nicely balanced, delicate, and sophisticated. The flavor profile is a tasty fine stone dust and black plum blend with notes of red licorice and red cherry. I also detected hints of kumquat and saline. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and gentle tannins nicely sustained. I would pair this refined Pinot Noir with beef carpaccio. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pretty and elegant aromas are layered with black cherry, dried apricot, and rose petal and reflect the fresh, savory flavors of blackberry, leather, and currant. Beautifully pure in texture with elegant, smooth, and defined tannins. The finish is clean, crisp, and balanced, accented with a lip-smacking salinity.
