Wine Review: This white gold colored Pinot Gris from Oregon is a good value for $14. It opens with a ginger ale and green apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acid and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused Bosc pear with hints of pilsner beer and ginger. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors are nicely prolonged. This Pinot Gris would pair nicely with shrimp scampi. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Primarily a four vineyard blend, this Willamette Valley Pinot Gris opens with aromas of white peach, melon and notes of soft tropical fruit. Dry on the palate with medium body and fruit characters of dried pears and citrus zest. Crisp acidity integrates well with medium body to make a smooth finish accented with mouthwatering acid.
