Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Diatom opens with a honeydew melon and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. On the palate, this wine is balanced, bright, and crisp. The flavor profile is an Asian pear and almond blend with notes of white tea. We also detected hints of lime zest. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Chard with baked Dover sole. Enjoy – KWGTP
