Wine Review: This clean and bright Tasmanian Chardonnay is a pale straw color in the glass with vibrant aromas of green apple, pineapple, Bosc pear, honeydew melon, lime zest and salt air. On the palate, it is fresh, medium bodied with medium plus acidity. It also has a supple mouthfeel and nice balance. There are flavors of green apple, lemon curd, ripe nectarine, and mild oak with a touch of stony minerality. Refreshing and mineral-driven, its finish is very long. Take a store-bought rotisserie chicken up a notch mid-week with a glass of this Chard. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: The hallmark of this modern-style Chardonnay is its purity of fruit and pristine acidity. Bright, pale straw with green highlights in the glass. The nose opens up with melon and ripe nectarine aromas. A fresh and youthful palate with zingy lemon and grapefruit, with a subtle creaminess from the neutral oak. Finishes bright, with zesty vigor.
