Wine Review: This yellowish gold colored Chardonnay from California opens with a pineapple, pear, and oak bouquet with a hint of apricot. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright, and fresh for a Chard. The flavor profile is stony minerality and tart green apple blend with notes of white pepper and lemon. I also detected some hints of almond, white tea, and oak. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this summer Chard with a refreshing cold corn soup. Enjoy – Ken
