Wine Review: Spicy and savory, this very good Pinot Noir is a brilliant pale ruby color and its bouquet is very fragrant, with aromas of sweet cherry compote, toll house cookie, Earl Grey tea and hints of raspberry and dried leaves. On the palate it is juicy, medium bodied, balanced, smooth and moderately acidic. Flavors include wood spice, vanilla oak, red plum, raspberry jam, black tea, and dried herbs. The finish is dry, bright, and moderate in length with supple tannins. This versatile Pinot would go well with a lot of foods, especially barbecued pork ribs. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: This lush and alluring Pinot Noir draws you in with aromas of black cherry, wild strawberry, red currant, black tea and sage, as well as rustic hints of earthy forest floor. On the palate, the generous ripe berry flavors are framed by bright, balanced acidity and refined tannins that carry the wine to a long, silky finish.
