Wine Review: This medium white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from Decoy opens with a lime and gentle gooseberry bouquet with hints of white peach pit and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with elevated bright acidity. The flavor profile is a tart yellow grapefruit and lime blend with integrated flinty minerality. We also detected notes of saline, ginger and stone fruit mixed in. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with seasoned swordfish skewers or raw bar. Enjoy – Ken, Karen and Stuart
Winemaker Notes: From its exotic aromas of guava, Meyer lemon and passionfruit to its crisp acidity and citrus and stone fruit notes, this delicious Sauvignon Blanc dazzles with bright, fresh flavors. On the palate, alluring layers of tangerine, lemon peel, white peach and honeysuckle add nuance to a long, zesty finish.
