Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir opens with a fragrant black raspberry and boysenberry bouquet with a hint of spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty acai berry with notes of mild oak and black cherry. There are hints of vanilla-cola and flinty minerality in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and its flavors and fine tannins drift away nicely. This Pinot is very approachable and food friendly. I would pair it with authentic German schnitzel (Schweineschnitzel).
