Wine Review: This dark red colored Zinfandel from Decoy opens with a very fragrant craisin bouquet with a hint of pomegranate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and very juicy. The flavor profile is a brambly red raspberry and cranberry mix with notes of cinnamon and a hint of cherry. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a while. The Panel suggested pairing this Zin with a Carolina styled pulled pork platter. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine displays lush layers of wild blueberry, blackberry and cranberry, along with a hint of enticing spice and toasty oak. On the palate, the structure is elegant and inviting, with plush tannins and well-balanced acidity underscoring the vibrant fruit.
