Wine Review: This very pale yellow, almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with an attractive peach and cantaloupe bouquet with a hint of lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and shows slightly elevated acidity. The flavor profile is a crisp green apple with ripe pear and cantaloupe notes mixed in. The finish is dry and very refreshing. The panel suggested pairing this wine with grilled swordfish or steamed clams. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Duckhorn Vineyards has been crafting a Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc since 1982. Expanding on this winemaking tradition, Decoy Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc allows our winemaking team the opportunity to explore a different expression of this great varietal. This wine was fermented exclusively in stainless steel to preserve its lively aromas of lemon, lime, grapefruit, kiwi and freshcut grass. On the palate, refreshing acidity carries flavors of guava and citrus peel through to a long, crisp finish.
