Wine Review: This dark red colored wine opens with a ripe strawberry bouquet with a hint of cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a very tasty red cherry and vanilla blend with notes of gentle oak in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show very nice length. This wine would pair perfectly with Theresa's homemade meatloaf or grilled Kobe burgers. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Displaying rich color, soft, seamless tannins and enticing fruit, our 2008 Decoy Napa Valley Red Wine offers a lush and appealing expression of Bordeaux-varietal winemaking. The nose begins with fresh berry and black currant aromas, underscored by more sophisticated notes of dark plum, leather, walnut, clove and sage. On the palate, flavors of red currant, blueberry, vanilla bean and macadamia nut are supported by subtle nuances of oak that add texture to a long, satisfying finish.
