Wine Review: This pale straw colored kitchen sink white blend from South Africa is very good. It opens with a fragrant melon and pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral infused Anjou pear with notes of white pepper. I also detected hints of ginger and clementine. The finish is dry and refreshing. This wine would pair very nicely with Imperial Crab stuffed Halibut. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The name Maestro pays homage to the Baroque music piped throughout the vineyards and in the cellar at DeMorgenzon. On the nose and palate, there are concentrated orange and yellow stone fruits, as well as notes of spice and zesty citrus. The palate is full-textured, leaving you with a lingering aftertaste. It is an elegant wine with persistent nuances of honeysuckle and frangipani.
