Wine Review: This almost clear colored Chardonnay opens with a fresh ripe pear bouquet with hints of mild oak and honey. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear and mineral blend with notes of oak and green apple. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This bright Chard will pair well with French onion soup. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: DMZ is DeMorgenzon's value label, where the objective is to produce classic, elegant, well-balanced wines that over-deliver in terms of quality for price. Enticing citrus and tropical fruit aromas lead to a lush, concentrated palate. Ripe notes of peach, pineapple and apple are tinged with delicate hints of vanilla, butterscotch, caramel and toast, all backed by a vibrant acidity and a beautiful minerally edge.
