Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chenin Blanc from South Africa opens with mild apple and vanilla oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a new oak influenced pear with hints of green apple and touch of minerality and butterscotch. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely after the wine is gone. This wine would pair well chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This stunning boutique bottling displays enticing aromas of citrus, stone fruit, honey and toast which lead to bright flavors of pear, orange blossom, caramel and spice on the palate. A world class offering, this outstanding wine strikes a brilliant balance between lush fruit and crisp, mouthwatering acidity.
