Wine Review: This bright straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Davis Bynum opens with a gooseberry and white peach pit bouquet with hints of vanilla and white grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and bright. The flavor profile is a saline and gooseberry blend with notes of chamomile tea and white peach. I also detected hints of white grapefruit and lime. The finish is dry and refreshing.
